Description

This class will meet on Saturdays, 17:00-18:00 (GMT+1), continuing with Greek to GCSE book 2. The class is conducted via Zoom. The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

You should already be familiar with all three noun declensions; the active voice in the present, future, imperfect and aorist tenses; present, aorist and future participles, and personal pronouns.

In this 9 week term, we will expect to cover the passive voice, demonstrative adjectives and pronouns, relative pronouns and result clauses, and the middle voice. Throughout the course, students will continue to learn about the Classical Greek world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar.

Dates for the summer term are 13th April, no class on 20th April, 27th April, 4th May, 11th May, 18th May, 25th May, no classes on 1st June or 8th June, 15th June, 22nd June and 29th June.

Tutor: Dr Kerry Phelan.
