Description
This class is aimed at those who already have a good understanding of Latin grammar. Students will read unadapted Latin texts with explanations of aspects of Latin grammar as they arise. The course is conducted via Zoom and will meet on Mondays at 19:00-20:00 (GMT). The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.
In the spring term, participants will read extracts from Pliny’s Letters. The class will use the Bloomsbury OCR edition by Carl Hope (ISBN 978-1350156593).
Dates for the spring term: Monday 12th January, 19th January, 26th January, 2nd February, 9th February, mid-term break 16th February, 23rd February, 2nd March, 9th March, 16th March, and 23rd March 2026.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.
Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
