Description

In the spring term, students will read Homer Iliad book 16, lines 20-47 and 644-867, in unadapted Greek.

This text is set for examination in the OCR Classical Greek AS examination in 2025 and 2026. More information about this UK qualification is available here.

Students should have access to the OCR Anthology for Classical Greek, AS and A level, 2024-2025, ISBN 978-1350156630.

Classes will meet weekly on Tuesdays at 18:00-19:00 (UK local time). Dates for the term are 14th January, 21st January, 28th January, 4th February, (mid-term break on 11th February), 18th February, 25th February, 4th March, 11th March, 18th March and 25th March 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.

Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
