Description
This class is aimed at those who already have a good understanding of Latin grammar. Students will read unadapted Latin texts with explanations of aspects of Latin grammar as they arise. The course is conducted via Zoom and will meet on Mondays at 19:00-20:00 (GMT). The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.
In the spring term, students will read selections from Boethius’ de Consolatione Philosophiae. I will be in touch with registered students regarding a suitable commentary.
Dates for the spring term: Monday 13th January, 20th January, 27th January, 3rd February, (mid-term break on 10th February), 17th February, 24th February, 3rd March, 10th March, 17th March, 24th March and 31st March 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.
Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
