Description

This class is for those with a rudimentary knowledge of Latin, or who have completed the Beginners course. The class will be conducted via Zoom.

Meeting on Saturdays, (time tbc), this class continues with the basics of Latin grammar using Latin to GCSE book 1, by Henry Cullen and John Taylor. The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

In this 12 week term, the class will expect to cover the following grammar: the perfect, future, and pluperfect tenses; direct questions; 3rd declension nouns and adjectives; further uses of cases; personal pronouns, and possessive adjectives; adverbs; relative pronouns.

Dates for the spring term: Saturday 13th September, 20th September, 27th September, 4th October, 11th October, 18th October, 25th October, (mid-term break 1st November), 8th November, 15th November, 22nd November, 29th November, and 6th December 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.

Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
