Description

This class is for those with a rudimentary knowledge of Latin, or who have completed the Beginners course. The class will be conducted via Zoom.

Meeting on Saturdays, at 14:30-15:30 (GMT+1), this class continues with the basics of Latin grammar using Latin to GCSE book 1, by Henry Cullen and John Taylor. The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

In this 9 week term, the class will expect to cover the following grammar: the perfect, future, and pluperfect tenses; direct questions; 3rd declension nouns and adjectives; further uses of cases; personal pronouns, and possessive adjectives; adverbs; relative pronouns.

Dates for the spring term: Saturday 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June, 14th June, and 21st June 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.

Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
