Description

This class will meet on Saturdays from 13.00-14.00 (GMT). 

Students should be familiar with all GCSE grammar including all noun declensions, the active, passive and middle voice in the present, future, imperfect and aorist tenses, and contract verbs.

In this 10 week term we will be reading the GCSE prescription of Euripides Medea alongside working through the grammar from the Greek Beyond GCSE textbook. You will need access to Greek Beyond GCSE by John Taylor, ISBN 978-1474299756, and the OCR Anthology for Classical Greek GCSE by Judith Affleck and Clive Letchford, ISBN 978-1350161818. Please let me know if you have any difficulty obtaining these books.

The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson. 

Dates for the spring term: Saturday 11th January, (no class on 18th January), 25th January, 1st February, 8th February (mid-term break on 15th February), 22nd February, 1st March, 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March and 29th March 2025.
