Description
This intensive Classical Greek course meets on Thursday evenings (19:00-21:00 GMT+1) for 2 hours per week. The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 2-3 hours of independent study between each lesson.
Students should have access to Greek to GCSE part 2 by John Taylor.
You should be familiar with first, second and third declension nouns, prepositions, adjectives and adverbs, the present, future, imperfect, and aorist tenses in the active voice, participles, and pronouns.
In the summer term, students will expect to cover the passive voice, demonstrative pronouns, comparative and superlative adjectives and adverbs, the middle voice and deponent verbs.
This course is suitable for those who wish to move at a faster pace, and for those who may be considering sitting the GCSE examination in 2026.
Dates for the summer term: Thursday 1st May, 8th May, 15th May, 22nd May, 29th May, 5th June, 12th June, and 19th June 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.
Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
