Description

Meeting on Saturdays from 13th April 2024 at 13:00-14:00 (GMT+1), this class will continue with the basics of Latin grammar using Latin to GCSE book 1. The class is conducted via Zoom. The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

You should already be familiar with: present, imperfect and perfect verb tenses in the Active voice; all verb conjugations, and first and second declension nouns.

In this 10 week term, the class will expect to cover personal pronouns and possessive adjectives, the future tense, and third declension adjectives. Throughout the course, students will continue to learn about the Roman world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar.

Dates for the summer term are 13th April, 20th April, 27th April, 4th May, 11th May, no class on 18th May, 25th May, 1st June, 8th June, 15th June, and 22nd June 2024.
