Description

The Classical Greek Advanced 2 class will meet on Saturdays from 13.00-14.00 (GMT+1), using Greek to GCSE book 2 by John Taylor. The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

You should already be familiar with all noun declensions, the active, passive and middle voice in the present, future, imperfect and aorist tenses, and some contract verbs.

In this 9 week term we will expect to cover indirect statements and questions, and result clauses. Students will continue to learn about the Classical Greek world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar, as well as some unadapted texts.

Dates for the summer term are 13th April, 20th April, 27th April, 4th May, 11th May, no class on 18th May, 25th May, 1st June, 8th June, and 15th June 2024.
