Description

This class will meet online, on Saturdays at 14:00 (GMT), continuing with Greek to GCSE book 2, by John Taylor. The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

You should already be familiar with all noun declensions, and the active, middle and passive voice in the present, and imperfect tenses.

In this 10 week term we will expect to cover the middle voice, the passive voice in the future and aorist tenses, the genitive absolute construction and reflexive pronouns.

Students will continue to learn about the Classical Greek world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar.

Dates for the spring term are Saturday 11th January, 18th January, 25th January, mid-term break on 1st and 8th February, 15th February, 22nd February, 1st March, 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March and 29th March 2025.
