Description

Meeting on Saturdays from 26th April 2025 at 13:00-14:00 (GMT+1), this class will continue with the basics of Latin grammar using Latin to GCSE book 1. The class is conducted via Zoom. The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.

You should already be familiar with: present, imperfect and perfect verb tenses in the Active voice; all verb conjugations, and first, second and third declension nouns.

In this 9 week term, the class will expect to cover personal pronouns and possessive adjectives, the future tense, adverbs, third declension adjectives, and the pluperfect tense. Throughout the course, students will continue to learn about the Roman world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar.

Dates for the summer term are Saturday 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June, 14th June, and 21st June 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.

Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
