Description
This class is aimed at those who already have a good understanding of Latin grammar. Students will read unadapted Latin texts with explanations of aspects of Latin grammar as they arise. The course is conducted via Zoom and will meet on Mondays at 19:00-20:00 (GMT+1). The class will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.
In the summer term, students will read selections from Virgil’s Georgics 4. There is a Cambridge Greek and Latin commentary, edited by Richard F. Thomas (ISBN 978-0521346788).
Dates for the summer term: Monday 28th April, 5th May, 12th May, 19th May, mid-term break on 26th May, 2nd June, 9th June, 16th June, and 23rd June 2025.

The class will proceed subject to a minimum number of enrolments.
Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
