Description
This class will meet on Saturdays from 13.00-14.00 (GMT+1).
In this 8 week term we will be reading selections from the current GCSE prescriptions of Herodotus and Xenophon, while working through the grammar in chapter 2 of the Greek Beyond GCSE textbook. Students should be familiar with all GCSE grammar, as well as that introduced in chapter 1 of Greek Beyond GCSE including conditional sentences and indirect questions.
Students will need access to Greek Beyond GCSE by John Taylor, ISBN 978-1474299756, and the OCR Anthology for Classical Greek GCSE by Judith Affleck and Clive Letchford, ISBN 978-1350161818. Please let me know if you have any difficulty obtaining these books.
The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.
Dates for the summer term: Saturday 26th April, 3rd May, 10th May, 17th May, 24th May, 31st May, 7th June, and 14th June 2025.

Cancellation policy: students will receive a full refund if the student cancels their registration more than two weeks before the class begins. Students will receive 50% refund if the student cancels their registration 8-14 days before the class begins.
