Description
This class will meet on Saturdays from 11th January 2025 from 13:00-14:00 (GMT) using the Latin to GCSE textbooks. The class is conducted via Zoom and will require approximately 1-2 hours of independent study between each lesson.
You should already be familiar with: all verb tenses in the active voice; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd declension nouns and adjectives; personal pronouns, and relative clauses.
In this 10 week term, the class will expect to cover comparative and superlative adjectives, and the passive voice. Throughout the course, students will continue to learn about the Roman world through translation of various passages adapted to their current level of grammar.
Dates for the spring term: Saturday 18th January, 25th January, 1st February, (mid-term break on 8th February), 15th February, 22nd February, 1st March, 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March and 29th March.
